I'm on a blog Hiatus!

I wanted to blog about how I won't be able to blog much for the next couple months. Between buying new house and getting married in 51 days, I am unable to keep this blog as up to date as I would want it.

Don't worry, I am working out more than ever! I want to be as fit as possible for the wedding. I promise to get back into blogging daily after my crazy crazy life cools down a bit!

Today's Workout- Ab Ripper X and P90X Arms



Tonight I was having a friend over, so I had to sneak in a little bit of P90X. Felt good! I had to finish the arm and back workout early so I could get ready for Jessica to come over. But it was good to sneak in the workout I could in!

Working out does not rev up your metabolism?

I was reading one of my favorite blogs and found this very disappointing article. A lot of people believe (and I hoped) that working out made you burn calories (or at least fat) hours after. In a study, they found that is most likely not true. I guess you can't just eat whatever you want if you work out!

Tonight I went on that great 5 mile bridge to bridge run! I am a little addicted to it now...

Today's Workout- P90X Abs and 5 mile run!


I hadn't really run that much since we've moved, so I thought it was about time! I went on a great 5 miler. I ran across the Ballard Bridge, ran down Nickerson then over the Fremont bridge back to home. It was a really great run. Before the run I did the 15 minute Ab Ripper X from P90X. Totally kicked my butt. Today was a great workout day!

Abs- 146 calories burned
Run- 651 calories burned

I am sorry...

I have been missing!

My Fiance and I moved into a new house, so in other words, I have been REALLY busy! And we haven't had internet.

But don't you worry, I have been working out!!!

We started P90X three days ago and I keep being progressively sorer and sorer. I "thought" I was fit, but these workouts are kicking my butt! Eddie and I are having to take an Advil in the morning just to make it through the morning, we are so sore!
